The growth of the exports of handicrafts have able to create new vistas due to the impressive growth in the exports of handicrafts and created new dimensions among the urban youths who were never ready to adopt it as profession. None of the sector which have capacity for employment generation were projected at the international level in a collective and spectacular manner as INDIAN HANDICRAFTS.

This has been made possible due to the strategic planning and professional expertise of Mr. Kumar by providing common platform of selling & exporting Indian handicraft products from North to South and East to West.

This platform of Indian Handicrafts & Gifts Fair started in 1994 with 300 participants today witness more than 1800 participants and that too twice in a year:

Indian Handicrafts & Gifts Fair (IHGF) in last 14 years have become a single stop sourcing points for more than 25000 overseas buyers from all over the world. IHGF in true sense able to provide forward and backward linkages by providing livelihood to millions of craft persons from for flung areas.

The vision of Mr. Kumar is to create an additional 20 million jobs in the rural and semi urban areas and targeting to 50,000 crores exports in next 5 years. The road map for the same is already under implementation.
